Five Black Diamonds, and a review that’s really about trust, not treatments.
I flew to Phuket for two things: the lobster, and Siam Clinic. This Siam Clinic Phuket review has been three years in the making, because what began as a random clinic visit has turned into one of the strongest relationships I’ve built anywhere in Thailand.
The lobster was magnificent. But what happened when I walked back through Siam Clinic’s doors reminded me why, after trying clinics in more countries than I care to count, this remains my favourite clinic anywhere in the world. I’m about to award it Five Black Diamonds. In three years of running Mr Paparazzi’s World, I’ve done that exactly twice.
How Siam Clinic Phuket Happened By Accident
About three years ago I was scrolling through clinics in Phuket, trying to find someone to assess what I rather brutally described to myself as my drooping face. I had five options. I picked Siam Clinic at random.
One of the better random decisions I’ve made for my own self-care.
Since then I’ve been back again and again — Botox, Sculptra, hair removal, IV therapy, assorted non-surgical treatments, and on this trip, filler for the first time, alongside an XERF treatment that was genuinely one of the reasons I routed myself through Phuket on the way to Bangkok in the first place.
But this review isn’t really about a machine, a needle, or a treatment. It’s about trust.
Why I Trust This Aesthetic Clinic in Phuket
Dr. Aime, Phim, Apple, Pacha and the rest of the Siam Clinic team have become close friends — closer than that, honestly.
When somebody is working on your face and your body, I don’t think there’s anything more important than that relationship. You need to trust them enough to say, “you tell me what I need,” rather than dictating the treatment yourself.
That’s where I’ve landed with Dr. Aime. In the early days I compared prices and negotiated like anyone would. I don’t anymore:
- I trust her judgement.
- I know I’ll be looked after.
- I know she’ll tell me what she genuinely thinks is right, rather than what’s easiest to sell.
Dr. Aime came from Bangkok and built her first aesthetic clinic in Phuket; today, there are two Siam Clinic locations. Independently of anything I’ve experienced personally, the numbers back up what I’m saying — a consistent five-star rating across more than 150 Google reviews, and over a decade in business, which isn’t something you fake in an industry this competitive.
What she’s built goes beyond aesthetics. She’s built a culture. The staff aren’t just going through the motions — they are:
- Warm.
- Funny.
- Attentive.
- Genuinely invested.
In my experience, great staff are almost always a reflection of how they’re treated by the person running the place. The customer service at Siam Clinic Phuket is, quite simply, among the best I’ve experienced in any business, anywhere — not just clinics.
This trip, they surprised me with a birthday present: not another treatment, not a freebie with a sales pitch attached, but a three-hour package at one of Thailand’s highly rated spas.
I didn’t ask for it or hint at it — they just thought about something I’d genuinely love and organised it.
I’m not promising every client gets that. I’ve been coming for three years, spent real money, and we’ve become genuine friends. But that’s the point:
- Treat people well.
- Become a good customer.
- Build a real relationship.
And sometimes it becomes worth considerably more than whatever you’ve spent. They even covered my IV therapy without charging me on this visit — again, not a blanket promise to anyone waving the Black Book, just how this clinic makes me feel as a client, and why I keep coming back.
Worth the Flight From Koh Samui
I’ve tried aesthetic clinics elsewhere in Thailand, including on Samui, and for me personally, nothing I’ve experienced compares to Siam Clinic Phuket. It’s roughly an hour in the air, so turn it into a proper trip: a couple of days in Phuket, an obscenely large lobster at Bangla Food Market, one of those ridiculous Patong sunsets, and a visit to Siam Clinic. Call it vanity if you like — I call it self-care, and at this stage of my life I make no apology for wanting to look after myself properly.
